GHANA NOW HAS AN ONLINE INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR PASSPORT AND VISA APPLICANTS ABROAD - AYOKOR BOTCHWEY.

  The Hon minister for Foreign Affairs and regional Integration, Shirley Ayokor Botchwey has told Parliament that, Ghana has now stalled systems to issue Passports and Visas to Ghanain citizens abroad through its diplomatic missions. She explained that, based on this new arrangements, applicants are required to book appointment through her ministry online platforms and report at the missions on scheduled appointment dates for the service at the consular offices.
 There should be a national debate on education to restrengthen the educational system in Ghana – Professor E. B. Amponsah. The rector of Valley View University Techiman campus Professor E. B. Amponsah has raised his concern on the educational system in Ghana.  Speaking he emphasized that the educational system in Ghana is weak and needs to be attended to in order to restructure it for the best. He said comparing the current system if education in Ghana from basic to even the university level everything is theoretical not as in some years back when one who completes middle School could even do some small practicals.  He said this at the first section of the 27th Congregation Graduation Ceremony of the school for the December 2021 graduates at the schools auditorium at the Techiman campus which due to the Covid–19 Pandemic is been divided into various sections with a theme; Confronting a global Pandemic: a call to Excellence, Integrity and Service.       ...
